The studi-oh!

This is my dear friend Leslie. For this photo I used a homemade ring light made by one of the photography teachers at my school. For the editing just a simple black and white with a tint of purple :)

Environmental Portrait

These are some environmental portraits of my brother. He's a mechanic as you can see & he loves his car :)  Hope you enjoy... Feedback is highly appreciated!

I was told this looks like a LEVI'S ad
It would be pretty cool if it was actually used as one ;)

ZOMBIE!

On Halloween in my photo class, we learned different techniques used in Photoshop for making a zombie effect on portraits. I mainly just used the burn, sponge and dodge tool.

Advertisements

I did an independent study on advertisements... Minor editing on each except for the Starbucks ad, I wasn't able to capture the real smoke coming out so I made my own by using a brush from  http://www.brusheezy.com/
Hope you like them... feel free to leave a comment :)

Traveling at the Speed of Light

I was in the back seat. Camera on a tripod. Wide angle lens. Shutter speed about 5 seconds.
A special thanks to my brother for driving me around in order to get this picture.

Big Bear

Last month my family and I headed up to Big Bear for the day with some close family friends. I took along a Nikon SLR D40 camera from my school. These some of my favorite photos...

My all-time favorite :)

Slightly out of focus. I just had to post, she's so cute :)

Summer 2012 @ Corona del Mar

These photos were taken with your average digital camera, a Panasonic FH27 Lumix.
If you've ever been to Corona del Mar I'm sure you've to that small hidden section where there are caves and rocks to climb on. A couple of friends and I got a cliff and enjoyed this beautiful scenery while the sun was starting to set.

Editing: slight brightness/contrast adjustments. Other than that nature's natural beauty : P

Editing: Again, small brightness/contrast changes

2011-2012 Beginning Photography

This photo I took for a nature unit/diptych photo. It was entered in our high school art show.
This photo was taken during a nature walk we went on, it was also displayed at my high school's art show.

Keep Your Eye on the Time

I always have trouble with Photoshop so when this worked out I felt very accomplished :)
